BJP ‘Using’ CAA With Eye On Gujarat Polls: Mamata

West Bengal Boss Priest Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday claimed that the BJP was “utilizing” Citizenship Revision Act (CAA) and Public Register of Residents (NRC) with an eye on the forthcoming Gujarat get together races.

The Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo declared that she won’t ever permit the execution of CAA in West Bengal.

Banerjee likewise blamed the saffron camp for attempting to fan rebellion in West Bengal by raking up statehood requests, and iterated she won’t ever permit the division of the state.

“The BJP is fanning dissent in West Bengal by affecting Rajbanshis and Gorkhas in northern pieces of the state. We won’t ever permit the division of West Bengal,” she said.

Emphasizing that the BJP won’t get back to drive after the 2024 Lok Sabha races, Banerjee said that the political circumstance of the nation was different in 2019 and it has changed from that point forward.
